Metabank refuses to release deposits

Since January, MetaBank has refused to release CDs that were wired-in from, primarily, Credit Unions. They claim the funds were stolen by an employee and it isn’t their responsibility, but the bonding company’s. My question is, why hasn’t the FDIC gotten involved? The bonding company continues to drag their feet.

Meanwhile the institutions are $99,000 short. I didn’t think we had to run background checks on the employees of a bank before making a deposit?!?

[Note: When has Meta Bank ever been co-operative? When has Meta Bank ever been civic minded? Would you want these bankers to live next door to you? How do they act to their immediate neighbors if they act like this in the work place? Just curious.]

    • I have often heard that the truth is often far more interesting than fiction…. Like what one might read in a novel or see in a movie.
META BANK operates on a global scale so no matter where you live, you may be vulnerable to these same practices.
Also it seems that the global economy is being controlled by large economic entities or large corporations.

The plan is to make us economically indebted, like economic slaves, where there will only be two classes of people: the extremely wealthy and the worker class who remains in a constant state of being indebtedness due to the rules of the Wealthy Class who will never be satisfied with their level of wealth. META BANK has consistently reserved the right to change their rules governing their accounts without notice.

It is for the people to complain to the right people in the right places. However, our government seems to have been “bought” by the wealthy class. So much for freedom. Economic Freedom needs to be added into the U.S. Bill of Rights. However, under Bush, the element of fear of the stranger began and has been pushed to the maximum to the detriment of the good common sense of the American public. Our elected representatives seem to thrive on this element of fear, fear of the stranger.

      Thanks for writing
